At this production department, products are manufactured within a fully automated production process, through the collaboration of robotic systems and human operators, a unique approach in Greece.
Hot-dip Galvanization
The largest hot dip galvanizing plant in the Balkans is in Kilkis
ZINCOMETAL operates a modern hot dip galvanizing plant, which is the largest and most innovative in the Balkans. The company places particular emphasis on hot dip galvanizing processes to protect steel even in the most demanding conditions.
The ZINCOMETAL hot dip galvanizing plant, in compliance with European standards and principles of sustainability, is the largest in Greece and one of the largest and most innovative in its category in the Balkans.
Its purpose is to combat corrosion, specifically the oxidation of steel, in the most challenging environments, ensuring durability, longevity, sustainability, aesthetics, and lower costs.
With its hot dip galvanizing plant, ZINCOMETAL supports its own manufacture of products, while also providing hot dip galvanizing services to third-party manufacturers of steel products.
Galvanization quality
Use of international and European standards: EN ISO 1461, ASTM A123 and A153, and specifications from Greek organisations (e.g., PPC).

Zinc used: 99.995% (PRIME WESTERN type)
Electrostatic powder coating facilities
In cases where a longer lifespan is required, exceeding that offered by hot dip galvanizing, and combined with an improved aesthetic result and architectural colour options, the Duplex system is recommended.
The Duplex system combines hot dip galvanising with high-quality electrostatic powder coating, offering enhanced anti-corrosion protection and an excellent finish.

• High durability: even in the event of paint wear and moisture penetration, the zinc coating continues to protect the steel from corrosion.
• Ease of maintenance: repairing Duplex surfaces is clearly simpler compared to items that are exclusively protected with paint and have experienced corrosion at their base.

• Enhanced aesthetics: choice of colours and architectural solutions that meet modern design requirements.
Colour Warranty
A warranty of up to 10 years is provided for the preservation of the colour shade and colour quality. The duration of the warranty depends on the type of product and the conditions of the natural environment to which it is exposed.
